Virtually any t-bolt clamp (including v-band and quick release types) or strap can be upgraded by switching from a conventional locknut to the Moeller Click-Loc™ design. Reliability is improved because problems with locknut torque loss and thread galling are completely eliminated. The Click-Loc™ locking mechanism works independently of the thread. The nut is free spinning and the locking mechanism only engages as the clamp tightens down and it disengages when tension on the clamp is removed. For all practical purposes Click-Loc™ has infinite reusability in clamp applications. Maintainability is greatly improved because clamp installation and removal is much easier and faster than with conventional locknuts...and of course there is no need to use safety wire!
