Moeller Aircraft Division
Moeller Manufacturing Company, Inc., Aircraft Division is a manufacturing facility specializing in machined parts for the gas turbine aircraft engine and power generation industries. The primary facility located in Wixom, Michigan is responsible for all customer support including design, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer shipments. We also have a satellite facility in Harbor Springs, Michigan that does production manufacturing. All together we have approximately 115,000 square feet of production space and as of February 2006, 260+ employees.

Parts and Materials
Moeller's products include precision machined parts ranging from small items such as bladelocks to complex brackets, housings, and manifolds. We are also heavily involved in blade and vane manufacturing and outsource creep feed grinding. Moeller is a recognized industry leader in specialized self-locking fluid fittings, borescope plugs, drain plugs, turnbuckles and other fasteners. Our locking device products include Click-Loc™ and FlexThread™. Frequently used materials include nickel alloys, stainless steels, titanium, and super-alloys in wrought, forged and cast form as well as composites. We also incorporate most typical secondary processes such as FPI, welding, thermal spray, etc.

State-Of-The-Art Equipment
The Aircraft Division is heavily equipped with up-to-date CNC milling and turning equipment, CNC creep feed grinders, and conventional and wire EDMs. The company has also implemented work cells for efficient, cost effective manufacturing and fast turnaround. A state-of-the-art Solidworks CAD/CAM system allows our engineers to take a design from concept to production without the need for paper drawings. A fully integrated HP/Symix MRP system is installed for manufacturing and accounting control. Our internal NDT and special process systems are under NADCAP accreditation.
